This exercise was a lot harder than I expected, despite having a good range of buildings and landscapes all within a relatively close area. I also later noticed that a new lens hood had caused vignetting on some of the wide angle shots. A lesson learned!

Out of numerous shots I took during the day I tried to focus on one element of the picture whilst trying to cover each grid square. Some of the shots have worked quite well such as the sand ripples, the large concrete circles and the heart but I think some of the others were a bit cluttered and hence distracting.

I chose the above images as a set. Although Blackpool is famous for its tower and piers I felt that the more abstract images with the exception of the first photo could have represented one of many places. I feel that each has a part of the photo that is more significant than the rest. However, as a set it is apparent they all have a link.
